All We See of Stars...

When you look into the sky at night, and see those glowing balls that seem to either shimmer quietly or streak across their sticky dark canvas to their demise, you're not actually looking at them as they are; they're so far from your eye that you could be seeing how some stars looked several years ago.

That's why all we see of stars, are their old photographs.
